Description

Cala del Moraig is a hidden cove flanked by cliffs over 100 metres high in Benitatxell, between Javea and Moraira. Its turquoise waters of exceptional clarity and the Cova dels Arcs — a sea cave with natural rock arches formed 60,000 years ago, reachable by swimming about 100 metres from the beach — make it one of the Costa Blanca's most spectacular spots.

The Falla del Moraig, a geological fault visible in the cliff face where freshwater springs emerge into the sea, adds scientific interest to the scenery. Blue Flag beach with lifeguard service, accessible bathing point with amphibious chairs and a free summer shuttle bus from the upper car park.
