Context
The children's paintball experience in Camanzo takes place on a 10,500 m² outdoor field located between Vila de Cruces and Lalín, just 20 minutes from Santiago de Compostela. This natural Galician setting hosts three distinct themed zones: a wooden village with 14 houses, a fort built into a natural hollow, and a Vietnam-style jungle. The diverse terrain provides a dynamic and immersive experience, enhanced by fresh air, pine scents, and the natural beauty of Galicia.
The Experience
Children are provided with age-appropriate gear including full-face masks, protective vests, and paintball markers loaded with non-toxic gel or paint pellets. After a safety briefing and warm-up, they form teams to play guided matches across all three zones. Games include classic objectives like capturing the church, rescuing hostages, and taking over the village. The sound of markers, running between trees and buildings, and team coordination create a controlled adrenaline rush, helping kids build agility, teamwork, and strategic thinking.
For Whom
This activity is ideal for children aged 8 to 13 who are physically able to participate in moderate physical activity and enjoy team-based fun. It’s a great choice for school groups, birthday parties, and family outings seeking a safe, energetic, and memorable alternative. Not recommended for children under 8 or those with severe allergies to paint or gel materials.
