Con apenas 150 habitantes, Alarcón es hoy en día uno de los Conjuntos Históricos y Artísticos más importantes de la Edad Media. Situada en Castilla la Mancha, esta población conserva un gran valor cultural. Por este motivo no queremos que dejes pasar la ocasión de visitar y descubrir esta joya histórica. A lo largo del recorrido tendrás la opción de caminar por una de las fortalezas medievales más relevantes de España, cuando la villa tenía su esplendor. También descubriremos el casco histórico, en las que se hayan tesoros culturales como la portada Sur de Esteban Jamete y el retablo mayor; ambas se encuentran en la parroquia de Santa María. Dentro de esta podremos observar el Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Jesús Mateo (en la antigua iglesia de San Juan Bautista), también llegaremos a ver el Paseo de Ronda del Castillo, que hoy en día se encuentra reformado y sirve como un Parador de Turismo. Por último pararemos en la iglesia de Santa Trinidad, declarada Bien de Interés Cultural, allí veremos su representación gótica como: la obra del pintor Jesús Mateo con un gran cuadro, además de ver el Castillo de Alfonso VIII, y que nadie conquistó.
