Penya del Figueret

Approach and climb 3-4 h. Two suspension bridges and Valencia's longest final zipline. Lunch in Sella. Free afternoon for a swim at El Albir or a walk to Guadalest castle.
El Ponoig at dawn

7:00 start to climb El Ponoig (400 m, 3-4 h) in shade. Mediterranean view from the summit. Lunch in Polop and return.

400 m high in Polop with long vertical sections and Mediterranean views from the summit. K3-K4, 3-4 hours with guide. More demanding than Figueret; dawn start in warm season.
Sunset drive to the coast

El Albir cove (white pebbles with views of Altea bay), Altea (seaside promenade) or Benidorm. 30 minutes by car from Relleu/Polop.
Via ferrata technical gear

Fits if you've done at least one K3 via ferrata with a guide and want two K3-K4 tests in a weekend, based inland with sea at sunset. Ideal for fit couples or friends.

Doesn't fit for ferrata first-timers (start easier), kids under 14 or pure-beach plans. October-May only — summer makes the wall too hot.

No. Penya del Figueret y El Ponoig son K3-K4 con desplomes y exposición. Imprescindible haber hecho al menos una ferrata K2/K3 anterior con guía.

¿Cuánto tiempo cada ferrata?

Penya del Figueret 2-3 horas con guía; El Ponoig 3 horas. Sumar 30-45 min de aproximación cada una.

¿Hay alquiler de coche en el aeropuerto?

Sí, gran oferta en Alicante-Elche. Imprescindible para moverse entre Relleu, Polop y la costa.

¿Se puede combinar con playa?

Sí: bajada a El Albir, Altea o Benidorm a 30 min en coche tras la ferrata. En invierno el mar está frío pero el paseo merece la pena.
