Arrive in Toro around 12h. Quick check-in at the walled-town hotel. Down to the winery: visit to the 1967 vineyard, barrel hall and tasting of 4-5 Tinta de Toro. Lunch at a town-centre mesón with Zamora roast lamb.

Free afternoon in Toro: Romanesque collegiate church, walled centre, Renaissance palaces. Sunset at the Espolón viewpoint over the Duero. Quiet dinner at the hotel.
