Description

The Segovian Pine Lands extend north of the province as a green sea of resin pines covering the Castilian plateau. Towns like Cantalejo, Cuéllar and Coca preserve Mudéjar castles, Romanesque churches and a centuries-old resin-tapping tradition. Cuéllar, the quintessential Mudéjar town, houses the Dukes of Alburquerque castle. Coca guards one of Spain's most beautiful castles, built in Mudéjar brick on a hilltop.
