Description

A volcanic archipelago of 4 islets 56 km off the Castellón coast, declared a marine and terrestrial nature reserve. The Columbretes harbour unique biodiversity: the endemic Columbretes wall lizard, Audouin's gull and Eleonora's falcon colonies, and the richest seabeds in the western Mediterranean. Access is limited and requires prior authorisation. Boat excursions from Castellón visit Grossa island and its lighthouse with a park guide.
