Located on the Sant Jeroni cliff in Montserrat, it offers a 1,000-meter equipped route with 450 meters of vertical gain. Montserrat is a landmark mountain massif in Catalonia, renowned for its spiritual significance and unique geology, where wind carries the scent of thyme and pine.

The Experience Guided by certified professionals, the ascent combines fixed ladders, mini-rappels, and a challenging natural rock bridge that tests balance and focus. The final chimney section demands strength and precision to navigate. From the summit of the Santa Cecília Needle, panoramic views unfold across Montserrat’s jagged silhouette under shifting skies. The adventure concludes with a natural picnic spot in the surrounding alpine terrain.

For Whom This via ferrata is suitable for experienced climbers in good physical condition, aged 16 and over, seeking technical challenges and dramatic vertical landscapes. It is not recommended for beginners, those with vertigo, or individuals with limited fitness levels.

Local Context Montserrat has long been a site of pilgrimage and climbing. The Teresina route marked a key stage in the evolution of via ferratas in Spain, bridging traditional mountaineering with modern technical innovation.
