Siéntete como un autentico rey del siglo XVIII con nuestra visita guiada al Palacio Real y Jardines de San Ildefonso. Nos encontramos en San Ildefonso, Segovia. En la planta principal del palacio nuestros guías expertos te mostrarán y explicarán la Galería de Retratos, el Dormitorio de Sus Majestades, el Salón de Lacas y el Gabinete de Espejos. En la plata baja de este palacio nuestros guías te mostrarán la Sala de Hércules, la Sala de La Justicia, la fuente de Galatea y la Sala de Mármoles o de Europa. Esta última sala tiene como elemento principal la representación en el techo de “El Rapto de Europa” y estípites con bustos en mármol representado a senados Dianas y a emperadores romanos a las puertas de esta. Cabe destacar que el Palacio de San Ildefonso sufrió un devastador incendio en 1918 que arrasó con la gran mayoría de la decoración representativa y lujosa del Palacio así como de algunos de los tapices y de frescos que se encontraban en él. En el mismo palacio, en la Casa de Damas, se encuentra el Museo de Tapices, el cual también fue devastado por el incendio. A día de hoy podrás ver tapices como “Prudencia”, “Justicia”, “El Apocalipsis” o “La creación del hombre”. Además, en esta sala hay una curiosidad de lo más inquietante ¿quieres saber cuál? ¡Ven a visitarnos! Por último, te toparás con el precioso jardín de este complejo arquitectónico. En ellos podrás sentirte en un lugar mágico debido a su belleza. Son el ejemplo perfecto a la formal a la francesa.
