The experience
Over the course of 1 to 3 days, you’ll learn fundamental backcountry skiing techniques, from proper use of crampon skins to handling essential safety equipment: ARVA, snow shovel, probe pole, and helmet. Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll practice moderate ascents and descents on variable snow conditions, feeling the crisp mountain air and the bright reflection of sunlight on snow, all while enjoying sweeping views of peaks over 2,200 meters.

This course is intended for skiers with basic alpine skiing skills who are ready to progress into mountain skiing. It requires good physical fitness and prior experience in alpine skiing—this program is not suitable for complete beginners or individuals with limited mobility.
