Description

First section of the Senda del Litoral from Castro Urdiales town centre to the village of Islares. A 9 km route along coastal paths passing the Mioño mineral loader, Valverde forest, Dícido beach and the fishing village of Cerdigo. The trail partly follows the old service road of the iron mines. This is the most accessible section of the entire Senda del Litoral, with moderate elevation and no technical passages.
