Description

A stage of the Camino de Santiago del Norte between Castro Urdiales and Laredo, covering 25 km that combine coast, forest and rural landscape. The first 9 km follow the Senda del Litoral to Islares. From there the Camino turns inland through the Liendo valley, between meadows and farmhouses, before descending to Laredo through its old town. Two variants: the official route via Liendo (more authentic, more elevation) and the alternative via the N-634 through El Pontarrón de Guriezo.
