Description

The most spectacular stretch of the Senda del Litoral between Sonabia and Laredo: 10 km along the base of the Candina massif cliffs. The route includes two technical passages with fixed ropes (Paso de Presa and Paso del Francés), both over the Cantabrian Sea drop. Between them, the San Julián hermitage on a headland, coves inaccessible from land and the Erillo inlet viewpoint. The final section descends to Aila beach and La Atalaya in Laredo. Not suitable for those with vertigo.
