Description

The most spectacular via ferrata in Osona, equipped on the limestone cliff of Puigsagordi, 10 minutes from Vic and 45 minutes from Barcelona. A K4/K5 itinerary combining technique, strength and exposure.

The route: A 10-minute approach from the car park. The route links a first vertical section to the summit of Quicarell, a 69-metre Nepalese bridge (the longest in the Peninsula), the traverse through the Baumes Corcades — a series of spectacular rock cavities — and highly athletic overhanging passages (optional). Descent approximately 45 minutes.

K4/K5 level: The overhanging sections are optional. With them, the route reaches K5; without them, most of the route is K4. Prior via ferrata experience is recommended.
