Description

Puigllançada (2,408 m) is one of the most iconic summits of the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees, on the border between Berguedà and Ripollès. In winter, snow-covered, it offers one of the area's best snowshoe routes: a gradual ascent with increasingly spectacular views to the summit.

The route starts from Coll de Pal (2,000 m), placing you in a high-mountain winter setting from the very first steps. It ascends through snowy forest tracks and mountain trails, with around 400 metres of positive elevation gain. From the summit, views are 360 degrees: Pedraforca, Serra del Cadí, Montseny and the Pyrenean peaks of Ripollès. The certified mountain guide adapts pace and route to daily conditions.
