Context
The adventure water gymkhana takes place on the Sella River, a renowned watercourse in Asturias famed for its navigable waters and well-preserved natural landscape. This activity takes full advantage of the river’s diverse terrain to deliver a dynamic course featuring physical and aquatic challenges that require moderate fitness and basic swimming skills. The Sella River winds through a valley where the sound of flowing water blends with the earthy scent of moss and ferns.
The Experience
Over approximately two hours, participants form teams to compete in challenges such as canoe races, controlled rope rappels over water, naval battles in canoes, and jumps from designated platforms. Guided by professional monitors, you’ll feel the texture of your neoprene suit and life jacket as you descend the rappel, and the cool rush of the river after each leap. The activity combines physical effort and strategic thinking in a real river environment, promoting teamwork and joyful energy.
