Context
The paintball activity at La Puerta de Segura takes place at the Juleca Complex, located 15 km from Jaén, in a typical Mediterranean landscape featuring forest and native vegetation. The site offers two distinct natural fields that provide varied terrain and tactical depth for gameplay. Access is straightforward via highway and public transport, making it easy to reach from the city. The open-air setting and natural cover create an authentic, immersive environment for the sport.
The Experience
After being fitted with a full protective suit, vest, gloves, and certified safety mask, participants receive a safety briefing and game instructions. Following a short warm-up, players are divided into teams and begin combat across the two natural fields for 90 minutes, using strategy and quick movement through the woodland. The sound of gunfire and the rustling of leaves accompany every action, as biodegradable paint marks each hit without harming the environment. At the end of the game, a team debriefing is held, and groups may choose to enjoy a barbecue or free refreshments bar.
For Whom
This activity is suitable for teenagers over 12 and adults with moderate mobility and agility. It’s ideal for friend groups, families with teens, corporate teams seeking team-building, and school outings. Not recommended for individuals with limited mobility, children under 12, or those avoiding physical exertion or wearing face masks.
