In Tembleque, near kilometer 100 of the A-4 and just twenty minutes from Villacañas, a family farm produces Manchego cheese using milk from its own flock of Manchega sheep. The guided tour takes the visitor through the entire cheese cycle, from the field to the board.
During the tour, you will get to know the flock and life on the farm, learn about the production process—from milking to curdling, pressing, and aging—and finish with a tasting of their cheeses at different stages of maturation. It is a peaceful plan, suitable for all ages, ideal for understanding the origins of one of Spain's most recognized cheeses.
The creamery is located in the heart of La Mancha toledana, a landscape of cereal plains and vineyards linked to cheese-making traditions and the Manchego cheese route. Duration, price, and visiting days are confirmed with the creamery upon booking.
