At over 1,500 meters above sea level, the cold, dry air makes it easier to shape snow blocks into traditional snow shelters.

The Experience Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll learn how to select the right site and cut snow blocks using specialized tools. You’ll feel the cold, dense texture of the snow as you assemble the igloo’s dome. Once completed, you’ll enter the shelter to experience its surprising thermal insulation—enjoying a hot broth inside, enhancing comfort in stark contrast to the freezing outdoors.
