What to do in San Javier

San Javier is the Murcia municipality that borders most of the northern shore of the Mar Menor, the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe with 135 km² of surface area and shallow, warm waters for much of the year. This combination of conditions makes San Javier one of the most established water sports destinations on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, with windsurfing, kitesurfing and stand-up paddle schools that have been training athletes from across Europe for decades.
