The Noguera Pallaresa stretch between Llavorsí and Sort accumulates over 30 kilometres of rapids graded from III to V, making it the most sought-after white-water circuit in Spain and a regular host of international kayak and rafting competitions. The concentration of specialist companies and well-organised logistics means rafting, hydrospeed and touring kayaking are accessible from day one, with or without prior experience.
Beyond the water, the Pallars Sobirà offers a high-mountain Pyrenean landscape with little overcrowding. Forest tracks and cattle paths around Llavorsí allow demanding MTB rides with technical drops and significant elevation changes. Access to the long-distance GR-11 trail and passes above 2,000 metres makes the municipality a base for multi-day traverses through the Lleida Pyrenees.

Best time to visit
